Ward was the earliest baby born in MonroeLouisiana on 15 April 1976. Monroe Christian School was her private Christian primary school. When she completed her high school studies she transferred to River Oaks High School in the summer before her junior year. She was a member of the dance and drill team. She was also a student at Northeast Louisiana University briefly after graduation. Ward began modeling when she was thirteen. She left school in order to relocate to New York. In the years following, she also decided to take up acting. The first time she appeared on stage was in an uncredited character in 1970's soap opera All My Children, and later was cast in the lead in a drama for teens on NBC Prime-Time Malibu Shores. The morning soap Sunset Beach cast Ward as the virgin Meg Cummings in late 1996. In 1999, she started a career in movies in the role of Brittany Foster the psychotic character from the horror movie The In Crowd. The film did not do well in the commercial theatres, but it did find some success on cable and home-video. Ward had a role as a backup for the role of Shallow Hal the following year. Ward has also appeared in several other direct-to DVD films and has made guest appearances on various television shows particularly Friends. The character of Chloe Kmet was hers in 2009 as she was the mother of a young woman on the ABC Family drama Make It or Break It. She married David C. Robinson, the producer. They had a child named Cameron.

Sandra Lee has achieved great fame in social media through her blackhead and pimple popping removal videos. She is also known as Dr. Pimple popper and is followed by more than 13 million people on her You Tube, Instagram and the Facebook page. The TLC television series Dr. Pimple Popper has featured her throughout the six seasons. Aside from that she's also launched a line of skincare and wrote a humorous guidebook for the care of your skin.
